The tools listed here were gathered from a variety of sources at ISTE 2014: concurrent sessions, poster sessions, keynotes, Ignite sessions, Ed Tech Smack Downs, and from the #ISTE2014 Twitter feed.
- Appear.in: Online video conversations with up to 8 people for free.
- Edpuzzle.com: Make any video your lesson. Add embedded questions and audio notes. Cool! Free for teachers.
- EdCanon.com: Similar to Edpuzzle - create lessons with questions around videos. Also prevent students from skipping through content if you wish.
- FL-Draw.com: Flowcharts, concept-mapping and vector drawing - free for teachers and students.
- Inklewriter.com: Write and publish interactive stories online.
- 81dash.com: Safe, backchannel chat for students or teachers
- WhenIsGood.com: No registration needed, free! Easy way to find out when teammates are available for a meeting. Helpful and fast if you do not have access to their calendars.
- Presentation Remote for Google Drive: Use your smartphone as a presentation remote for Google Drive presentations. Supports speaker notes.
- MoveNote.com: Present your documents with video - integrates with Google Drive.
- Kahoot.com: Game-based classroom response system. Use phones or devices to respond. The faster you respond correctly, the more points you earn
- Tagboard.com: Online tool for catching hashtags from across multiple platforms (Twitter, Istagram, Vine, etc)
- Tweetbeam.com: Visual way to display tweets by hashtag
- TouchCast: Create videos with interactive layers: polls, twitter feeds, maps, etc.
- Delivr.com: Create one QR code, and change the content tied to it without having to generate a new QR code. Cool!
- Plickers.com: Online solution for student response system. Cool!
- Peardeck.com: create interactive lessons with your Google Drive account!
- ClassFlow: Cloud based teaching and learning, similar to NearPod, integrates with Promethean ActivInspire.

- Pixteller.com: Make graphic "posters" online
- The Noun Project: Online site for icons for every noun (at least that is the goal. They're working on it.)
- Tackk.com: Simply create beautiful pages online: pages, blog posts, posters, flyers
- QR Voice: Create a QR code that speaks for free!
- KitzKikz.com: Printable flashcard creator with QR code capability
- Clearly: Google Chrome Extension that strips down distractions from webpage.
- Flippity.net: Easily convert Google Spreadsheets into flashcards
- YouTube Clipper: Enter a link to a YouTube video and the start and stop point of the video clip you want to highlight to "clip" your video to the perfect section
- YouTube Editor: YouTube has a built in YouTube editor to create and edit videos, much like MovieMaker software
- URL Shortener & QR Code Generator: Use this site to create a shortened URL and a QR code for a webpage at the same time.

- RecordMP3: Easily record and share your voice or audio
- Screencastify: Google Chrome extension for creating screencasts. Upload to Youtube or Google Drive.

- Wevideo.com: Online video editor - super simple
Oldies, but Goodies
- LMGTFY.com: "let me google that for you" - Do you have teachers who ask you questions that google could easily answer for them? Try this handy tool. Enter their question into the website, and press search. It returns with a short URL that you can copy and paste to them with the answer. The result is a short screencast of how to enter their question into google and pressing "search" - ending with "Was that so hard?"
- Kaizena: Add voice notes to Google Docs. Great for team projects or feedback for students.
- Trello: Organize and collaborate on to-do lists.
- Thinglink.com: Make your images interactive.
- Todaysmeet.com: Backchannel discussion tool
- Blendspace: (Used to be called EdCanvas): Create step by step online lessons in minutes.
- Flubaroo.com: Plug-in for Google Forms to easily turn surveys into graded assessments
- Piktochart.com: Create Infographics
- Remind.com: (formerly Remind101): Send text message or email reminders or announcements to parents and students. Great for special needs kids - great for everyone!
