EDpuzzle.com is a online site that provides teachers with a way to pose questions to students around the educational videos they are watching. This is GREAT for a flipped classroom approach to learning and professional developement. There are several sources of video you can directly pull from: YouTube, TeacherTube, Khan Academy, Learn Zillion, National Geographic, etc. Then simply crop the video (optional), add questions, audio notes, audio tracks and save it. Create a classroom to assign the video as an assignment. Students do not need an email to sign up - only a username and a classroom code (similar to Edmodo). Teachers can track the progress of students as they answer the questions. Also, kids can't skip or fast forward through the video with EdPuzzle. Hee hee! Love it!
